Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy

Realty on Record, operated by Portal Technology Distributors cc, provides digital utility management services and the sale of prepaid credit top-ups and vouchers for electricity and water. All payments are processed securely via an authorised payment gateway. By completing payment, you acknowledge agreement to this policy.

2. Refunds

Prepaid credit top-ups and voucher purchases are non-refundable, except when:

• A duplicate payment was made in error.
• A payment was successfully charged but no credit or voucher token was issued due to a failed or incomplete transaction.
• A verified technical error on our platform prevented delivery of the purchased credit or voucher.

For approved refunds, the amount is returned to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

Duplicate payment and failed-transaction refund requests must be submitted in writing to connect@portal-tech.co within 7 days of the transaction, including proof of payment and the relevant meter or utility account details.

Once a voucher token has been generated, or prepaid credit has been applied to a meter or utility account, the purchase is deemed delivered and consumed and cannot be refunded.

3. Cancellations

Top-ups and voucher purchases are confirmed and applied immediately upon successful payment and cannot be cancelled by the user once the credit or voucher token has been generated. Where a payment fails before a token is issued, no credit is applied; any erroneous charge in such cases is handled under Section 2.

4. Returns

Realty on Record provides digital utility credit and voucher tokens only; no physical goods are shipped or returned.

5. Disputes and Chargebacks

We maintain detailed transaction, token, and account records as proof of service delivery. Please contact connect@portal-tech.co before initiating any chargeback so we can resolve the matter directly. All disputes follow the relevant card network and acquiring bank policies.
